The terms of using Mati.

By creating an account or using Mati, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Mati. If you use Mati on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

Mati is a teaching tool. It surfaces the load-bearing concepts inside your code and explains them in place, so you understand what you (or your AI) wrote. When your code uses a concept the common wrong way, Mati shows what correct usage looks like as a teaching example.

Mati teaches concepts to help you understand code. Its explanations are generated by language models and can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. They are not professional, legal, security, or financial advice, and they do not replace your own review, testing, and judgement. Mati does not fix or patch your code for you, and you remain responsible for everything you write, run, and ship. Always verify before relying on anything Mati tells you.

You need an account to use Mati. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at abhishek@zonivan.com if you suspect unauthorised use. Mati is intended for a general adult developer audience and is not directed at children under 16.

You agree not to:

• ·Abuse the model proxy: no automated, bulk, or excessive requests beyond normal interactive use, and no attempts to exhaust, resell, or circumvent credits or quotas.
• ·Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the catalog, prompts, or model routing, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
• ·Probe, disrupt, or bypass the security, rate limiting, or access controls of the service.
• ·Submit content that is illegal, infringing, malicious (including malware), or that you have no right to process.
• ·Use Mati to build a competing service from its outputs.

Mati meters model usage in credits against a per-account quota. Credits are an internal usage unit only. They have no monetary value, cannot be purchased, redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for cash, and we may change the quota, the credit model, or how usage is metered at any time. Mati is free during the alpha; if we introduce paid plans in future, any fees would be billed in Indian Rupees (INR) and disclosed before they apply. Mati is a teaching tool, not a billing product.

You keep all rights to your code. Nothing here transfers ownership of the code or content you bring to Mati. You grant us only a limited, non-exclusive, transient licence to process your code and content as needed to provide the service: to send it to our model provider, extract concepts, generate explanations, and return them to you. We do not claim ownership of your code and do not use it to train our own models.

Mati, its catalog, design, software, and brand are owned by Zonivan and its licensors. You may use explanations Mati generates for you for your own learning and work; you may not repackage or redistribute the catalog or the service itself.

Mati depends on third-party providers (including OpenRouter, Google, GitHub, Vercel, SendPulse, and Google Cloud, as described in the Privacy Policy). Your use of features that rely on them is also subject to those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

Mati is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Mati will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its explanations will be correct or complete. Mati is an early-stage product offered during an alpha and may change or break.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zonivan will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) Mati, including any reliance on its explanations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You may stop using Mati at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for the service or other users, and we may discontinue features or the product. On termination, the provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) continue to apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be negotiated in good faith and then submitted to binding arbitration in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, conducted in English, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

We may update these terms as Mati evolves. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and your continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
